Fall produce aplenty Monroe Organic Farm melons are ready for purchase at the Boulder Farmers Market. It’s also worth noting that gluten-free or vegan waffles are available here for a $2 up charge. But if your tastes run to the sweet, there’s such options as the European, featuring Nutella, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. This particular number sounds exactly like the kind of thing one would want to eat at 3 a.m. One signature item is the chicken and waffles, consisting of fried tenders topped with a rosemary sage and sausage gravy, with a side of Vermont maple syrup. Menu offerings include both sweet and savory versions of the Belgian specialty. From Thursday through Friday, the Lab’s hours extend until the wee small hours of the morning, namely 3 a.m.

Arguably more sophisticated than a certain house serving up similar featured items, The Waffle Lab, 1155 13th St., opened its doors earlier this month on Boulder’s University Hill.Ī spinoff of the original Fort Collins venue, this specialty eatery spotlights Belgian-style Liège waffles and coffee.
